Vegas (Day 2)

Well, I'm done with my girlfriend Misty's birthday party. We had a blast partying last night and I'm a bit beat. I'm not too busy today so I have time to blog more about our Vegas trip. On day two of our vacation, we decided to go with some asian food. We were both craving noodles, so we checked out the Vegas guide for some restaurants in the area. Beijing Noodle No. 9 in Caesar's Palace was the chosen one. So we walked on over. Luckily it wasn't too hot or we would have drove.

Chef's Handmade Noodles w/ Pork & Mushrooms.

Pan Fried Beef Dumplings

Me and my girlfriend shared. I'd say it's pretty expensive for the little portion sizes they serve. Plus, the service sucked! Took forever to bring out Misty a fork (chopstick noob) and took the longest time to bring out our food in the first place. There wasn't a lot of food to bring out anyway! The place wasn't even busy! To top it off, our server had an attitude! Errr...Ok. Wait, the food wasn't satisfying at all! The bowl of noodles that we ordered, no flavor man. Where was the pork & mushrooms in this pork & mushroom noodle bowl? It should have had more sauce, pork & mushrooms for the $15.09 that we payed. Yeah $15.09. The beef dumplings were ok though. Honestly, this could be Foody Food if you like paying a ridiculous amount for a small bowl of flavorless noodles. Done with that. Next time I'm in Vegas, I'm staying away from this noodle dump.

On our way back I had cookies & cream gelato on a waffle cone that I forgot to take a picture of it. It just looked so enticing that I couldn't wait. To be honest though, that was probably the best thing I had eaten all day. Also had a slice of pizza at Sbarro in our hotel food court that I didn't feel like blogging about. So I said "ehh".

Ok probably tonight or tomorrow for another Vegas vacation blog posting. Til then. Adios.

Vegas (Day 1)

Hey everyone I'm back! Did you miss me? Well I've been in Vegas for the past few days. You knew that already though unless you guys didn't read my past blog postings. It was a nice vacation for me and my girlfriend and I have alot to blog about. I'll make a blog post for each day that I was there so it doesn't get too cluttered on my blog with one posting.

So where to start? Well, day 1 of course!

Me and my girlfriend Misty left our apartment at 6:30 and arrived at Vegas around 10-10:30. We stayed at the Monte Carlo and after we checked in, we immediately set out to find something to eat. We were starving, but knew we shouldn't eat too much because we planned to have a nice dinner later. So we got something quick and tasty. Not something we'd usually get around our home in OC. "Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs" was the choice. The one we went to was located on the the top floor by the arcade in New York New York.

Two Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs & Fries. (My girlfriend's is the plain one because she only likes mustard)

That was a nice decent snack to hold us over. Off to the real food now. We did some walking around Vegas when we ended up at Planet Hollywood and stumbled upon a restaurant with a simple name. "Cheese Burger". Well we just had to try this out because me and my girlfriend are burger fanatics.

Misty's order. Grilled Chicken Teriyaki Sandwich

Seasoned Steak Fries

My order. The "It's All Good" Burger (Mushrooms, Swiss Cheese, Bacon, Guacamole)

Those burgers were really good! The fries were awesome as well. I suggest you eat here the next time you go to Vegas. Well I'm pretty beat from Vegas. I'll blog some more tomorrow. Or actually the next day since it's my girlfriend's birthday tomorrow. So long fellas!

Cloudy with a Chance of...Foody Food!

This has nothing to do with me going out to eat, taking pictures of food and then blogging about it. Instead, this is actually a recommendation. As in, go to the movie theaters and watch "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" because it's super hilarious! Oh, it has a lot to do with food because there's food even on the movie title. So this very posting does deserve a place in my blog. There's tons of foody food in the movie. Makes you hungry after you watch it. Oh and did I mention that this movie is super hilarious!?

Watch it. Definitely worth it.
